We have done great job in many of our product range especially in Gujarat, Rajasthan & Maharashtra and also in other states of India as well. The reason behind is always busy in maintaining and improving the quality standards of product and having motto in mind of SILVER team that Never Compromise With Quality.
However the Indian Market is competitive, what are the strategies that have been implemented by the Silver Engineering Co. in terms of marketing and product development to counter the competition.
Competition is good but if it is a healthy i.e. efforts must be taken in product and Productivity improvement through value engineering, process mapping or technological up gradation. Never create price war by compromising with quality.
You have taken many initiatives specially if we talk about Rajkots Pumps Industries. What are the latest initiatives Silver Engineering Co. has undertaken in Pumps industries, which are your focus areas?
From the inception to till date we are always ahead in taking initiatives regarding quality, technology, product developments and improvements not only inRajkot but also in Indian pumps industry.
If we take few examples we are first one and also leading today in development of widest range in terms of different engineering design in self-priming pumps in Rajkot and beating even many of top 10 companies in India. The same way were first who has developed entire range of Mud pumps up to 25 H.P. in Gujarat and having position in this category of pumps were second in India after Kirloskar. Also in technological up gradation were second one in Gujarat in installing automatic CNC winding machines for motor winding and also introduced value added processes with latest technology like burnishing, impregnated varnishing, elec. baking. We have also initiated to finish the components on CNC machines.
What are the key technological trends that are driving the Pumps Industries? Brief us about the R & D and quality policy for your business.
Now a days trend is in direction to improve performance and operational efficiency, lower conversion cost, improve customer perception & satisfaction, and adapt to regulatory requirements.
In R&D one thing I forget to tell u in earlier question that we have developed a laboratory equipped with more than 50 nos.

of latest and precise equipments like German make digital flow meters, digital panel with digital pressure sensors and many others to measure all required parameters with respect to design inputs exactly and to monitor conformity of performance as well.
For new design development, we have installed the best electrical and mechanical software to get design technical inputs and very experienced team is also there having adequate technical know-how. In fact, we have included design development in ISO 9001: 2008 certification so all the design stages are monitored, reviewed and approved as per the same standard. So far quality is concerned, as I said earlier we have a motto that Never Compromise With Quality. It is our policy to deliver the product only as per the agreed or declared specification and performance to fulfill the customers present and future needs.
Are there any new products that will be introduced in near future?
In fact were launching 4, 6 and 8 submersible pump sets in fully S.S. fabricated design to get the premium market share and lead the industry in this segment also. Were going to launch in next couple of months the entire range with highest efficiency, best aesthetics and longer durability.
What are the best possible remedies; you can advice in order to maintain the high profitability in the shrinking margins market of India.
As I explained earlier the remedies are only that Ideal design with respect to market needs, value engineering, cost reduction and higher productivity.
Please comment on the current Pumps Industries scenario in India. Please highlight the Indian and Global prospective of Pumps Industries.
If we take last couple of months was not quite good in India for pumps industry but no doubt all will be on the track till the current fiscal year end. If we talk about prospective of pumps industries than I have to say that its quite positive and progressive because of Pumps are the vital elements in an enormous range of fluid handling applications & range from small household pumps to immense units utilized in the waste water, chemical and energy industries. And thats why globally the entire pump industries are growing with more than 10% and in India the rate is more than 20%.
